John F. Saladino, is a renowned American interior designer, landscape and furniture designer. Many of his designs have been featured in such leading publications as Architectural Digest. His work on this particular residence was originally showcased in House Beautiful. With its stonework and the outriggers under the roof, he saw this residence as faithful to the Spanish Colonial style, evocative of Florida's early residential architecture. Yet he incorporated the 21st century through the use of subdued monochromatic colors and furnishings, as well as state-of-the-art technology provided by Crestron home automation.
