We are selling our home to the highest bidder! On our most recent appraisal, has comps sold at $445,000 at $470,000. The day before yesterday, our Zillow Zestimate value was $446,900 with a range of 425,000 - $469,000. But after we dropped our price by $60,000 yesterday, the Zillow Zestimate dropped to $391,700. However, after the appraisal, we upgraded our utility room, (including heating and a/c). We added 190 Sq Ft ($171/sq ft) which increased the value of our house by $32,490. We decided to drop our selling price to $400,000 and accept bids for the next 7 days because that is the amount we were offered by an investment company.
