The housing market remains competitive in any town or suburb close to Dallas (whether people were looking for luxury homes or cheap homes), though home sales of new construction homes were less aggressive. All of the new construction homes sold in Cedar Hill were single family residences, with no townhomes or condos. They were on the market for 36 days (median) before being sold. More than 95 percent of the new construction homes sold in Cedar Hills came with an HOA, which might cover amenities such as landscaping, a clubhouse, pool, and more.
